WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE : Northampton
Primary Role
Packing various containers for external customers.
Report to – Warehouse Supervisor
Qualifications
Good level of literacy, numeracy and accuracy
Counterbalance forklift licence desirable
Abilities and Qualities Sought

To be able to work in a precise, thorough and methodical manner

To have the ability to work as part of a team

Common sense is essential

To be able to work in a clean and tidy manner

To be physically fit as the post will involve some heavy lifting

Main Duties
-
To fill containers to given weights
-
Calculating batch yields
-
To co-ordinate the despatch of customer orders on a daily basis

To generally assist in the day to day running of the department
-
Maintaining of packaging / despatch records
-
Co-ordinate shipping with customer services and hauliers in absence of supervisor
-
To work in Goods In section as required
